Kitchen Table México in 2023: a year in numbers

(2 minute read)

As we celebrate the solid eighth anniversary of our Tulum restaurant and the successful first year of our new location in San José del Cabo, we reflect on a year of excitement, innovation, growth, and most importantly, the creation of thousands of unforgettable moments with our diners.

At the end of the year, we like to take a moment to review, and being the good nerds that we are, we love numbers and statistics. There are fun figures we enjoy looking at each year, curious insights into what we did, a different perspective to see what we achieved.

Here are some highlights from 2023.

These were the most chosen dishes, drinks and desserts from our menu:

Tulum:

  • Dish: Catch of the day (1844)
  • Cocktail: Diablito (1283)
  • Dessert: Gorillaz (761)

Sanjo:

  • Dish: Shrimp empanada (2500)
  • Cocktail: Sanjo Margarita (1341)
  • Dessert: Lemon tart Brûlée (978)

Between Paty and Andrea we prepared a total of 8353 breads:

The real Mexican battle. Let’s see how these two iconic Mexican spirits competed in taste and popularity among our diners in 2023:

Liters of mezcal: 248

Liters of tequila: 250

Which was the favorite this year?

Liters of white wine: 356

Liters of red wine: 501

Our team has spent 2190 hours in service, welcoming clients, making suggestions and recommendations, taking care of details, embracing the soul of everyone.

These statistics are not just numbers; they are a testament to our journey.
We thank everyone who visited us in 2023 and look forward to seeing you again in 2024!
