There are many beautiful places with stunning nature, what really makes a destination special is the experiences it offers. The combinations of culture, avant-garde and innovation in a specific environment that a place offers, are what we take with us. In order for San Jose to find a place in your heart, this is our list of must-sees: 

YOGA IN FRONT OF THE SEA

Yoga classes at Hotel El Ganzo, the best class with the best view in all of San José. The appointment is every day at 8am on the rooftop, the session lasts one hour. It is for all levels.
The type of Yoga is defined by each teacher and each one guides you on the postures.
200 pesos per person per session.

WAVES IN CABO

For those who have always wanted to try surfing or know how to swim between waves or for those who were inspired while already here, Cabo is an ideal place to experiment with these sports. It is possible all year round to practice wave surfing in Summer, SUP (stand up paddle board) and open water swimming.
At Manny González’s surf school, you can practice all 3 sports. They offer surf classes for all ages, as well as open water swimming classes, where you will learn to swim and enjoy the sea, its flora and fauna. Generally, training takes place at Palmilla Beach for swimming and surfing at Pescadito Beach.
You do not need to have previous experience since they are focused on beginners from scratch, as well as intermediate and advanced levels. You will learn different techniques in surfing, swimming and SUP, but you will also be instructed in water rescue and freediving during your regular classes. The water equipment necessary for the activities is included in all classes.

HANDS IN THE DOUGH

Within Casa Musa, you will find Contorno Baja Sur, a place for classes and workshops in ceramics, painting, weaving, carpentry and others, in a relaxed and very pleasant atmosphere, with good music and excellent teachers. Another option is also ArTime Barro with ceramics and glass art classes with options for children.

FOR THE FOODIES

Brunch at Pez Gallo is a must. It is a relaxed space that invites you to stay all morning; You arrive early for a good coffee and end up leaving in the middle of the day already happy after eating delicious food and having some “coptels”.
French bread, avocado toast with turmeric hummus, their coffee is delicious. And everyone there is super cool.
P.S. They are pet friendly in case you are with “furry friend”.
But if you’re looking for something in passing, you can’t miss the Doña Lety Quesadillas at the Organic Market. Fried or grilled, with a freshly made tortilla, they are the best. Try the nopales toast, any sauce and a cold passion fruit water.

GOOD COFFEE

You can’t miss a visit to Dr. Coffee Cabo. A very peculiar place, located on Valerio González Street, a “surfing” place. With their authentic Chiapas coffee they offer different options to start your morning well with a lot of energy. The Energizer, which contains banana, peanut butter, and hemp or The Balance with a cup with spirulina, banana, cocoa nibs and cold brew.
